Did your business suffer financial and economic losses as a result of the August 2020 Midwest Derecho?

Now you can help us measure the extent of impact on the local economy by reporting your estimated losses through the City of Storm Loss Questionnaire.  By taking 5 to 10 minutes to complete the survey, you can provide important details on the type losses experienced by businesses in Cedar Rapids.

City staff will tabulate all response data and then use summary information to help in disaster recovery efforts.  Specifically, figures about business losses citywide will be useful in making the case for additional resources to aid community recovery.
