Emerging Entrepreneur Summit and Pitch Competition at NewBo City Market

During the weekend of March 24-25, NewBo City Market, in partnership with Linn Area Credit Union, is hosting an Emerging Entrepreneur Summit and Pitch Competition at NewBo City Market.

On Friday, March 24, individuals interested in developing their business can take part in the summit which consists of a series of breakout sessions throughout the day with breakfast and lunch provided to program participants. Topics covered will include business finance, business plan writing, human resources, marketing, business banking, and more.

On Saturday, March 25, selected participants will have the day to sell their products with the day culminating in a pitch-style competition. A panel of judges will select the winner, the “LACU Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year” and they will receive a space inside of NBCM rent free for a year! During that year they will also get one-on-one business development guidance and mentorship with NewBo City Market staff.
